Upflow Pricing, Upflow Cost and Upflow Alternatives for Teams That Need Cash Matched to the Bank

Upflow is accounts receivable software. It sends payment reminders by email, SMS, call and letter, runs customer portals, tracks collections and, on its higher plans, applies incoming cash with a Cash Application Agent. Its own pricing page, read on November 8, 2026, shows no dollar figure at all. It sells five plans by the annual revenue you invoice through it: Starter up to $10M, Grow up to $25M, Scale up to $50M, Accelerate up to $100M and Enterprise above $100M, and every card says Ask for a quote. Each plan includes unlimited user seats and a cap on new invoices a year, from 40,000 on Starter to 700,000 on Enterprise. The Insights Agent is on every plan, the Collections and AP Portal agents start on Scale, and the Cash Application Agent starts on Accelerate. Upflow also lists a free Discover plan with a dashboard and insights, and a paid Payments add-on for its own gateway. What the page does not describe is the other half of the month: proving that the bank, the card processors and the general ledger agree. Applying a customer payment to an invoice is not the same job as reconciling the bank account that payment landed in, and teams that buy collections software often find the month end reconciliation still sitting in a spreadsheet. That second job is what Reconciler does. It reads bank and card statements, connects your processors and your QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite ledger read-only, matches both sides, and writes a plain English reason for every pair. The price is published, it starts at $29 per month, and it never moves money.

Honest fit

Which one you should actually pick

Pick Upflow when

Upflow is the better fit when the pain is late customer payments: a long list of overdue invoices, reminders written by hand, a portal customers can pay from. It is priced by the revenue you invoice and sold through a sales conversation, so it suits a company with a real receivables team. If getting paid faster is the bottleneck, use Upflow.

Pick Reconciler when

Reconciler is the better fit when the money has already arrived and the books still will not close. The open lines are the ones collections software does not own: a Stripe payout that lands as one deposit, a customer who paid two invoices with one wire, a refund that hit the bank but never reached the ledger. Reconciler pairs each bank line with the entries behind it, explains every match, and leaves a short list of true exceptions for a person. Most teams that outgrow spreadsheets at month end run both, one collecting and one proving.

Questions people ask

Upflow alternatives, answered

How much does Upflow cost?

Upflow does not publish a price. Its own pricing page, read on November 8, 2026, lists Starter, Grow, Scale, Accelerate and Enterprise by annual invoiced revenue from $10M to above $100M, and every plan says Ask for a quote. Plans include unlimited users and a yearly invoice cap, and the Payments gateway is a paid add-on.

Is Upflow free?

Upflow has a free Discover plan that gives access to its dashboard and insights so you can see how your receivables perform. The collections, payments and cash application tools sit on paid plans, and the paid plans are quote-only.

Does Upflow reconcile bank statements?

Not as a stated feature. Upflow chases invoices and, on Accelerate and Enterprise, uses a Cash Application Agent to apply incoming payments. Matching each bank line to the ledger and proving the ledger agrees with the bank is the work Reconciler does.

What are the best Upflow alternatives?

It depends on the job. For collections and receivables automation, compare Chaser, Versapay and the invoicing tools inside your ERP. For proving that the bank, the processors and the ledger agree, Reconciler is built for that, and our pages compare the neighboring tools honestly.

Can I use Upflow and reconciliation software together?

Yes, and that is the normal shape. Upflow works upstream, chasing and applying customer payments. Reconciliation software works downstream, proving the finished ledger agrees with the bank. Reconciler connects read-only, so it never changes what Upflow applies.
