MyWorks Alternatives, MyWorks Competitors and MyWorks Pricing, Compared on What Each One Actually Reconciles
MyWorks is an ecommerce accounting integration, and saying that plainly up front saves you a comparison that was never really a comparison. It connects a WooCommerce or Shopify store to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks POS, Intuit Enterprise Suite or Xero, then keeps the two sides in step. Orders post as sales receipts or invoices, customers and products carry across, inventory, price and cost move both ways, and refunds, estimates and transaction fees follow on the paid plans. You choose how often it runs, every 5, 10, 30 or 60 minutes. It is well built and well liked: the WooCommerce and QuickBooks Online plugin holds 4.7 out of 5 from 75 ratings on WordPress.org with more than 5,000 active installs, and MyWorks says 15,000 users across 100 countries push about a million orders a month through it. If your problem is that your store and your ledger disagree because nobody has been keying orders in, MyWorks solves that, and nothing on this page argues otherwise. People reach "MyWorks alternatives" from two different chairs, though, and only one of them is shopping for a sync tool. That buyer wants a cheaper or broader connector, and the real rivals are Synder, Link My Books, A2X, Webgility and Bookkeep. The other is a controller who filed MyWorks under reconciliation and wants to know whether it will close the accounts that are running late. It will not, and the reason is which two records get compared, not how good the sync is. MyWorks compares your store to your ledger and writes the difference into the ledger. Account reconciliation compares your ledger against the outside world: the bank, the corporate cards, the payment processors. Reconciler connects those sources and your QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Business Central ledger read-only, matches both sides, and writes a plain English reason under every pair. It never posts an entry and it never moves money.
Read-only ยท Never moves money
In short
MyWorks is a two-way sync between a WooCommerce or Shopify store and QuickBooks or Xero. It starts at $0 a month on a free forever plan for up to 20 orders and tops out at $99 a month on annual billing for unlimited orders. Its closest competitors are Synder, Link My Books, A2X, Webgility and Bookkeep. It is not account reconciliation software and it does not claim to be: the words reconcile and reconciliation appear nowhere on its homepage or its pricing page, read on September 1, 2026. If what you need is your general ledger tied out against your bank, your corporate cards and your payment processors rather than fed from your storefront, that is a different category of tool and a different purchase.

What it costs
MyWorks pricing vs Reconciler pricing
| How pricing works | Reconciler | MyWorks |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $49 per month, published on our pricing page | $0. The Launch plan is free forever for up to 20 orders a month on QuickBooks Online and Xero |
| How it is metered | Flat monthly tier for the whole business. No per-order meter and no per-user seat | Monthly order volume, plus which storefront and which accounting platform you connect. Five named plans |
| Launch, up to 20 orders a month | Not metered on orders | $0 a month, free forever |
| Rise, up to 60 orders a month | Not metered on orders | $24 monthly, or $19 a month billed yearly |
| Grow, up to 300 orders a month | Not metered on orders | $55 monthly, or $45 a month billed yearly |
| Scale, up to 1,000 orders a month | Not metered on orders | $99 monthly, or $79 a month billed yearly |
| Soar, unlimited orders | Not metered on orders | $119 monthly, or $99 a month billed yearly |
| Annual discount | Two months free on annual billing | Roughly 17 to 21 percent off the monthly rate, shown behind the Yearly toggle on its pricing page |
| Does the ladder change by ledger? | No. Same price on every ledger we support | Yes. WooCommerce with Xero runs $19, $39, $69 and $139 a month billed yearly, so its top tier costs more than the QuickBooks Online one |
| What the money buys | Bank, card and processor activity matched against your whole general ledger, with a reason under every pair | A two-way sync between one storefront and one accounting platform |
Vendor pricing changes. We only state what each vendor publishes itself, and we do not repeat third-party estimates as fact. Confirm current numbers with MyWorks before you decide. Reconciler pricing is on our pricing page, and the same check across every tool in the category, including which vendors publish a figure at all, is on our account reconciliation software pricing comparison.
Honest fit
Which one you should actually pick
Pick MyWorks when
MyWorks is the better fit, and the clearly correct purchase, when your problem is data entry: a WooCommerce or Shopify store whose orders, customers, products and inventory are not in QuickBooks or Xero, and somebody is keying them in or exporting spreadsheets every week. It is cheap, it is rated well by the people who do that job, it supports QuickBooks Desktop and Intuit Enterprise Suite when almost nothing else does, and the free tier means a small store can run on it for nothing. If that is the shape of your week, buy it.
Pick Reconciler when
Reconciler is the better fit when the storefront side is already handled and the balance sheet still will not tie out. Your orders are in the ledger, and the bank still shows deposits nobody has traced, the Stripe payout still lands net of fees with no breakdown, the corporate card feed still has 40 unmatched lines, and the intercompany transfers still net to something other than zero. None of that is a sync problem, and no amount of syncing fixes it. We connect the bank, the cards, the processors and your ledger read-only, match both sides, explain each match in a sentence a reviewer can accept or reject, and queue what is left as exceptions. Plenty of teams run both: MyWorks fills the ledger, we check it against the outside world.
Questions people ask
MyWorks alternatives, answered
How does MyWorks compare to other reconciliation automation platforms?
It does not compete with them, and that is the honest answer rather than a sales one. MyWorks is a storefront to ledger sync: it takes WooCommerce or Shopify orders, customers, products and inventory and writes them into QuickBooks or Xero. Reconciliation platforms take a ledger that is already populated and compare it against bank, card and processor records to prove the balances are right. Different inputs, different outputs. The tools MyWorks actually competes with are Synder, Link My Books, A2X, Webgility and Bookkeep.
MyWorks pricing: how much does MyWorks cost?
MyWorks publishes five plans and the price depends on monthly order volume plus which storefront and accounting platform you connect. For WooCommerce with QuickBooks Online, read in USD on September 1, 2026: Launch is $0 forever up to 20 orders, Rise is $24 monthly or $19 billed yearly up to 60 orders, Grow is $55 or $45 up to 300 orders, Scale is $99 or $79 up to 1,000 orders, and Soar is $119 or $99 for unlimited orders. The WooCommerce and Xero ladder differs: $19, $39, $69 and $139 billed yearly.
What are some alternatives to MyWorks?
For the same job, the real alternatives are Synder, which meters on synced transactions and publishes $52 to $480 a month billed yearly, Link My Books, which prices by order volume and channel count from $20 a month, A2X, which bills per sales channel from US$29 but does not support WooCommerce at all, Webgility, which also pushes inventory and pricing back to the store, and Bookkeep, which meters on annual revenue. Intuit also ships its own free WooCommerce connector, which is worth trying before you pay anyone.
Why should I choose MyWorks over other options?
Three reasons hold up. It is the only tool in this group with real QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks POS and Intuit Enterprise Suite support, which matters if your books are not in the cloud. Its free forever tier genuinely runs a 20 order a month store for nothing. And it syncs product, inventory, price and cost in both directions rather than just posting a summary journal, so your store and your ledger stay in step on stock, not only on revenue. If none of those three apply to you, price the others.
What is the difference between MyWorks and Synder?
Both write storefront activity into your accounting system, and both publish their prices. The differences are coverage and metering. MyWorks connects two storefronts, WooCommerce and Shopify, and meters on monthly orders from $0. Synder advertises 30 or more integrations including payment processors like Stripe, PayPal and Square, meters on synced transactions, and starts at $52 a month billed yearly with no free tier. Synder also markets multi-channel reconciliation by name, which MyWorks does not.
Is MyWorks read-only?
No, and it could not do its job if it were. MyWorks exists to write your storefront data into QuickBooks or Xero, and it syncs in both directions, so it needs write access to the ledger and to the store. That is the product working correctly, not a flaw. It is worth knowing before you connect it, because write access to a general ledger is a real control question and some controllers will want it scoped or approved first. Reconciler takes the opposite position by design: the connection is read-only, so it reads your records and cannot post to them or move money.
Does MyWorks reconcile my bank account?
No. MyWorks never touches your bank. It moves data between your storefront and your accounting platform, so the two agree with each other. Bank reconciliation compares what your ledger says happened to your cash against what the bank says happened, which is a different pair of records entirely. A store can be perfectly synced by MyWorks and still have a bank account that has not been reconciled in four months, because the deposits, fees, chargebacks and transfers in that account never came from the store.
Does MyWorks work with QuickBooks Desktop?
Yes, and this is one of its genuine advantages. MyWorks supports QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks POS, Intuit Enterprise Suite and Xero, while most of its competitors are cloud only. MyWorks offers a 14 day free trial for the QuickBooks Desktop sync rather than the free forever plan, which applies to QuickBooks Online and Xero. If your books live in QuickBooks Desktop, MyWorks and Webgility are the two names worth shortlisting.
MyWorks vs Reconciler: which should I buy?
Buy MyWorks if the gap is between your storefront and your books: orders not in QuickBooks, inventory drifting out of step, somebody keying in sales every Friday. Buy Reconciler if the books are already populated and the balance sheet still will not prove out: unexplained bank deposits, Stripe and PayPal payouts landing net of fees, a card feed full of unmatched lines, intercompany balances that do not net to zero. They are not close substitutes, and a lot of finance teams end up running one of each. Our price is published, from $49 a month.
