Finaloop Alternatives, Finaloop Competitors and Finaloop Pricing for Brands That Want to Keep Their Ledger

Finaloop sells two things at once, and it says so on its own pricing page: a real-time financial platform built for ecommerce and retail brands, and a team of ecommerce accountants who run it for you. It connects Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Etsy, WooCommerce and dozens of other stores, the major US banks and cards, Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, buy now pay later providers, ad platforms, lenders and 3PL warehouses, then produces a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow with inventory and COGS by SKU. What it does not do is sit on top of QuickBooks or Xero. Its integrations page lists no QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite connector, because Finaloop is the ledger. Its menus literally read Replace QuickBooks and Replace NetSuite. Pricing is mostly quoted. Checked on September 30, 2026, Finaloop publishes one figure, a Starter plan at $245 a month for brands under $1 million in gross revenue and no more than four years old. Full-Service and Platform are priced after a 30-minute call on revenue, complexity and the add-ons you pick, and most new customers also pay a one-time historical catch-up, charged at the monthly rate for each month before the free trial window. Subscription fees are not refundable. So the question a buyer has to answer is whether they want to move their books into Finaloop and hand them to Finaloop accountants. If yes, it is a strong managed option. If you would rather keep QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite, keep the CPA you already trust, and only fix the part where nobody can prove the books tie out, Reconciler is the narrower tool. It takes bank, card and Shopify payout statements as CSV and connects Stripe, PayPal or Square payouts next to your ledger with read access only, matches both sides line by line and writes a plain English reason for every pair.

In short

Finaloop is an ecommerce accounting service built on its own real-time ledger: a team of ecommerce accountants runs your books for you, or your finance team runs them on the Finaloop platform. It replaces QuickBooks or Xero rather than connecting to them. Checked on September 30, 2026, the only price Finaloop publishes is its Starter plan at $245 a month, for brands with up to $1 million in annual gross revenue that have been in business four years or less. Every other brand gets a custom quote after a 30-minute call, plus a one-time catch-up fee. Buyers look for Finaloop alternatives when they want to keep QuickBooks or Xero and their current CPA, when a managed service costs more than the job needs, or when the gap is proving that bank, card and payout activity agrees with the books. Reconciler does that read-only, from $89 a month billed yearly with a ledger connected.

Honest fit

Which one you should actually pick

Pick Finaloop when

Finaloop is the better buy for a Shopify or Amazon brand that does not have a bookkeeper it trusts and wants the whole job taken off its hands: books kept in real time on a ledger built for ecommerce, inventory and COGS by SKU, a managed month-end close and a team of ecommerce accountants answering questions. If you are a young brand under $1 million in revenue, the $245 Starter plan is a published, predictable price for that.

Pick Reconciler when

Reconciler is the better buy when you want to keep QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite and the accountant who already knows your business, and the missing piece is proof that the bank, cards and processor payouts agree with what is recorded. It connects read-only, explains every match and flags every exception, from $89 a month billed yearly with no catch-up fee and no call before you start.

Questions people ask

Finaloop alternatives, answered

How much does Finaloop cost?

Finaloop publishes one price, the Starter plan at $245 a month, for brands with up to $1 million in annual gross revenue that have been in business four years or less. Every other brand gets a custom quote after a 30-minute call, based on revenue, complexity and add-ons, plus a one-time historical catch-up fee. Checked on finaloop.com, September 30, 2026.

What are the best Finaloop alternatives?

It depends on which half of Finaloop you are replacing. For done-for-you ecommerce bookkeeping, buyers compare Pilot, Xendoo and ecommerce specialist bookkeeping firms. For posting store sales into QuickBooks or Xero yourself, A2X, Link My Books, Synder and Webgility. For proving the ledger ties out to bank, card and payout activity, reconciliation software such as Reconciler.

Does Finaloop work with QuickBooks?

No, not as a connector. Finaloop runs its own real-time ledger and positions itself as a replacement for QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite, and its integrations page lists stores, payment processors, banks, ad platforms, lenders and warehouses but no QuickBooks connector. If you want to stay on QuickBooks Online, you need a sync tool or reconciliation software instead.

Is Finaloop accounting software or a bookkeeping service?

Both. Finaloop describes itself as a real-time financial platform for ecommerce and retail with ecommerce accountants behind it. On Full-Service its team runs AP and AR, categorization, accruals, inventory and the monthly close for you. On Platform your own finance team works in Finaloop, and both plans include a Finaloop-managed month-end and year-end close.

Does Finaloop have a free trial?

Yes. Every brand starts with a 14-day free trial that covers the onboarding month and the two months before it, so starting on June 15 shows your numbers from April 1. The completed balance sheet only comes with a paid subscription, and months earlier than the trial window are charged as historical catch-up.

Can I cancel Finaloop and get a refund?

You can cancel at any time with no cancellation fee and export your data, but Finaloop subscription fees paid monthly or annually are not refundable. A catch-up fee can be refunded, minus processing fees, if you could not complete onboarding within the first four weeks. A year-end close or tax filing needs an active subscription.

How is Finaloop pricing calculated?

Finaloop says your price depends on annual revenue, the complexity of your operation and the services you need. Its help center explains that the monthly fee is set from gross receipts annualized over the trial window and then recalculated at the start of each quarter on the last twelve months, so the bill rises as the brand grows.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Finaloop?

Yes, if you only need part of what it does. A2X starts at $29 a month and Taxomate at $12 a month billed yearly for posting store sales into QuickBooks or Xero, and Reconciler starts at $89 a month billed yearly for reconciling bank, card and payout activity against that ledger. None of those include an accountant, which is what Finaloop charges for.

Do I need Finaloop or Reconciler?

Ask who you want doing the books. If you want an outside team to keep them for you on a new ecommerce ledger, Finaloop is built for that. If you already have QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite and a bookkeeper or CPA, and the problem is showing the deposits, card charges and payouts match what is recorded, Reconciler adds that without moving anything.
