The short answer: if you run ReconNET today, Trintech itself offers two ways forward, Cadency Match on its enterprise platform and Adra Matcher in its mid-market suite. Outside Trintech, the vendors that genuinely match at ReconNET's volume are BlackLine and HighRadius. None of the five publishes a price. The right pick depends less on the matching engine than on what surrounds it: which ledger you run, whether you also need certification and journal entries, and how many lines a day you match. If your books are in a cloud ledger such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite or Sage Intacct, a read-only matcher with a published price is a sixth option worth pricing against the quotes.

Every Trintech claim below was read off trintech.com on September 10, 2026, from rendered copies of the ReconNET, Cadency, Cadency Match, Cadency Close, Cadency Certification, Cadency Intercompany, Cadency GRC and CadencyDirect pages plus both page sitemaps. BlackLine and HighRadius were read first-party on September 4, 2026. We make a competing product, which is exactly why we only state what each vendor publishes about itself.

Is Trintech still selling ReconNET?

Yes. On September 10, 2026 the ReconNET product page returned HTTP 200, and ReconNET is one of the six products in Trintech's main navigation, next to Adra, Cadency, Frontier, Accurate and DATAFlow. Several competitor blogs describe it as a legacy platform. Trintech doesn't use that word. What it does publish is a gated eBook aimed squarely at its installed base, titled "ReconNET Users: You've Found the Perfect Match(ing) Solution... Now What?", which tells you Trintech is actively marketing a next step to existing customers.

That matters when you're the customer. If your renewal conversation includes the words Cadency or Adra, the real question on the table is which Trintech platform to move to. That is the moment to price the alternatives, because a matching migration means rebuilding rules, transaction types and data feeds whichever vendor you land on. The switching cost is roughly the same inside Trintech and outside it.

What ReconNET does well, per Trintech

ReconNET is a high-volume transaction matching engine. Trintech says it automates over 90 percent of daily, monthly and periodic reconciliation and can cut bank-to-book reconciliation effort "from weeks to days". Around the matching it lists exception reporting, reporting on where your cash sits at any given time, detective and preventative controls, custom specialty reconciliations, and SOX and Basel II compliance. It also lists a feature few matchers have: Anticipatory ACH, which automates the ACH calculation for sweeping money into interest-bearing concentration accounts and reduces exposure to ACH overdraft fees.

The customers it names are large, American and transaction-heavy. Abercrombie & Fitch runs about 150 million transactions a year across more than 200 accounts, 800 transaction types and 120 jobs. AutoNation auto-reconciles up to 200,000 transactions a month. Five Below cut credit card reconciliation from two days to six hours. Kroger, Panera Bread on Oracle, and Affordable Care at more than 4 million transactions and a 90 percent match rate round out the list, along with Texas Tech University, which estimates about $168,000 a year in avoided staff cost. Any replacement has to hold up at that volume, and that rules out most close checklists straight away.

How much does ReconNET cost?

Trintech does not publish a price for ReconNET, or for any of its six products. On September 10, 2026, trintech.com/pricing returned a 404, and none of the 149 URLs in its page sitemaps was a pricing, cost, quote or trial page. The ReconNET page offers a brochure and Book a Demo, nothing else. Review directories list ReconNET, but the figures they carry are estimates, and we won't repeat them. In practice your existing ReconNET contract is the best price reference you have, and the migration quote for Cadency or Adra is the number to compare every alternative against.

For context across the category, our account reconciliation software pricing comparison lists what each vendor does and doesn't publish, with the date every figure was checked.

ReconNET vs Cadency Match vs Adra Matcher: which Trintech matcher are you being quoted?

Trintech sells three matching products and publishes no comparison of them. Read side by side from its own pages, the split is by company size and by what comes attached to the matcher.

The rule of thumb that falls out of this: if you're a large enterprise and the quote says Cadency, you are buying a close platform and Cadency Match is one module of six. If you're mid-market and the quote says Adra, Matcher arrives bundled with balance sheet reconciliation and a close checklist. We cover the enterprise product in our Trintech Cadency alternatives and pricing comparison, and the choice between the two platforms in the Adra vs Cadency buying guide.

Which ReconNET alternatives outside Trintech handle the same volume?

Two enterprise vendors match at ReconNET's scale. BlackLine sells Transaction Matching as one of twelve financial close modules, with its AI branded Verity. Its ERP integration page names SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Acumatica and Sage, and names QuickBooks and Xero zero times. Its /pricing URL returned an HTTP 500 on every check through September 4, 2026 and is missing from its own sitemap, so it publishes no price either. HighRadius sells reconciliation through four named AI agents, one of them for bank reconciliation, and publishes "Outcome Based Pricing" and "$0 implementation fees" but no figure. It's the stronger fit when the same team also owns cash application and collections.

The directories that rank for this search also list FloQast, Vena, Datarails and Prophix. Those are close, planning and reporting tools. Some of them are very good products, but none is built to match 200,000 bank lines a month, so they answer a different question. Our BlackLine competitors comparison goes deeper on the enterprise field.

One more fork is worth checking early. If your ReconNET jobs are really bank operations work, meaning breaks on SWIFT and ISO 20022 settlement files inside a bank or credit union rather than a company's own books, look at banking automation software built for bank operations teams rather than a corporate close product.

Does ReconNET integrate with QuickBooks, NetSuite or Workday?

Workday and Oracle, yes, going by Trintech's own stories: ReconNET runs against Oracle at Panera Bread and alongside Workday at Enova International, which Trintech describes as a partnership of more than a decade. Trintech's integration menu lists Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle, Planful, SAP, ServiceNow and Workday. QuickBooks, Xero, Sage and Sage Intacct appear zero times on the ReconNET page. That's consistent with who buys it: companies on enterprise ERPs.

It also marks where Reconciler fits and where it doesn't. If you're a Kroger-sized retailer, we are not your ReconNET replacement, and we'd rather say so here than on a demo call. If you're a US company whose books live in QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct or Business Central, and you inherited an enterprise matcher that wants an extract every day, Reconciler connects the ledger, your bank feeds, corporate cards and Stripe, PayPal, Square or Shopify read-only, matches both sides and writes a plain English reason for every pair. Our transaction matching software page shows how that works on bank and card files, at $49, $149 or $399 a month.

What to ask Trintech before you migrate off ReconNET

Five questions, and none of them can be answered from the website.

  1. Does ReconNET have a published end-of-support date, and what is it? Trintech doesn't state one on its site, so get it in writing before you plan a timeline.
  2. Is the migration quote for Cadency or for Adra, and which modules beyond matching are in it?
  3. Do our existing match rules, transaction types and jobs carry across, or are they rebuilt? Anticipatory ACH is named on the ReconNET page, so ask directly whether the product you're moving to has it.
  4. What is the metering basis: transaction volume, accounts, users or entities?
  5. What do implementation services cost, and how long will both systems run in parallel during cutover?

Then take the answers, and the quote, to at least one outside vendor. Our Trintech pricing and alternatives page collects what we know about the company as a whole.

Which ReconNET alternative should you choose?

  • Cadency Match if you're a large enterprise on SAP, Oracle or Workday and you also want certification, journals and intercompany on one platform.
  • Adra Matcher if you're mid-market, run NetSuite or Dynamics, and want multi-way matching bundled with balance sheet reconciliation.
  • BlackLine if you're leaving Trintech entirely and want the other enterprise close platform with the widest module list.
  • HighRadius if bank reconciliation sits in the same team as cash application and collections.
  • Reconciler if your ledger is cloud-based, your job is tying bank, card and processor activity to it every day, and you want the price in writing before anyone books a call.
