An eBay Xero integration costs about $16 to $300 a month for most US sellers, depending on order volume and how the app posts into Xero. Checked from each vendor's own page between October 9 and October 31, 2026, the cheapest published option at 1,000 eBay orders a month is Taxomate at $39 ($33 billed yearly), then Link My Books at $47 and A2X at $79. Synder and Webgility start at $65 and $79 and climb faster because they sell multichannel sync. Xero does not give eBay sellers a free app.
Every app below moves eBay activity into Xero. None of them proves that the eBay payouts sitting in Xero agree with the deposits that actually reached your bank, and that is the job that eats the last days of every month. The tables show only what each vendor publishes, and where a page left something out we say so instead of guessing.
How much does an eBay Xero integration cost?
Budget $16 to $79 a month for a payout-summary app such as Taxomate, Link My Books or A2X up to 5,000 orders, $19 to $199 for Bookkeep, which prices on annual revenue, and $65 to $300 for Synder or Webgility. You pay for Xero on top: $27, $59 or $97 a month on the US plans.
| Option | Published price, one eBay store | What the price counts | Trial |

Taxomate was read on October 31. Link My Books and A2X tiers were last read on their own pages on October 15 and October 9, and neither page printed a full USD ladder when we looked again, so confirm both before you buy.
Does Xero integrate with eBay?
Yes, through apps in the Xero App Store, not through a built-in connector. A2X, Link My Books, Taxomate, Synder, Bookkeep and Webgility all connect eBay to Xero. Each pulls a payout from eBay Managed Payments and writes it to Xero as one summarized entry, split into sales, fees, refunds and taxes, so the bank feed has a single amount to match.
Without that summary, every order would land in Xero as its own invoice and the one net deposit on your bank statement would match nothing.
What does an eBay to Xero sync cost at 200, 1,000 and 5,000 orders a month?
The cheapest published plan for one eBay store, monthly billing unless noted:
| Orders a month | Taxomate | Link My Books | A2X | Synder | Webgility |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | $19 ($16 yearly) | $24 | $29 | $65 | $79 (300 included) |
| 1,000 | $39 ($33 yearly) | $47 | $79 | From $129 | About $159 (Advanced plus one block) |
| 5,000 | $59 ($49 yearly) | $68 | $115 | From $299 | About $239 on the same overage rule; get a quote |
The Webgility figures at 1,000 and 5,000 orders are our arithmetic from its published overage rate, not a price Webgility prints. Every other cell is a published tier.
Is there a free eBay integration for Xero?
We did not find one. Xero's own Shopify app is free on all plans, but the eBay apps in the Xero App Store are third-party and paid, each with a trial rather than a free tier. Taxomate also notes that its inventory sync works only with QuickBooks Online, so Xero users get summarized invoices instead of live inventory.
Use the trial for the first decision. Run your busiest real month through two apps and compare the entry each one posts against the eBay deposit on your Xero bank feed.
What is the cheapest way to connect eBay to Xero?
On published prices, Taxomate is the cheapest paid route from 200 to 5,000 orders, with Link My Books close behind and a gentler trial that needs no card. A2X costs more per month but is the name many Xero bookkeepers already know, which matters when you hand the file to an accountant. The cheapest subscription is not always the cheapest month end: a per-order app is the more expensive close, because hundreds of invoices then have to add up to one net deposit.
Which Xero plan do eBay sellers need?
Xero lists three US plans: Early at $27 a month, Growing at $59 and Established at $97. Early allows five bills a month and, like Growing, excludes multi-currency, which only Established includes. A US seller who also sells on eBay UK or Germany and holds pounds or euros will want Established, a cost that can outweigh the gap between sync apps.
Why doesn't my eBay payout match Xero?
Because eBay Managed Payments pays out net. Each deposit is sales minus final value fees, ad fees, refunds, shipping labels and any hold or adjustment, and one payout often covers orders from several days. If a per-order app posts gross sales and the bank feed also records the deposit as income, revenue lands twice. A summary app fixes the shape, but it cannot prove the deposit arrived, catch a payout split across two transfers, or notice a refund that pulled a later payout below zero.
Year end adds one more check, because the gross figure eBay reports on your 1099-K will not match net deposits. Once the books agree with the bank, the next job is the reports; an AI financial statement generator can turn the cleaned export into a P&L and balance sheet for your accountant.
Do I need a sync app and reconciliation software?
Most eBay sellers on Xero need one tool to move the data and one way to prove it is right. The sync app posts the payout. Ecommerce payment reconciliation software checks the result against the money that arrived. Reconciler connects Xero read-only and takes your bank statement as a CSV upload (Mercury and Brex connect directly), then matches each eBay payout on the bank statement to the entry your sync app posted, with a plain English reason under every pair and every exception flagged.
To be clear about the limit: Reconciler does not read eBay payout reports, so it does not split a payout into its orders and fees. That stays the sync app's job. It proves that each deposit landed and agrees with the ledger, and catches the duplicates and missing deposits a sync cannot see. It never posts to Xero and never moves money, so it runs next to whichever app you choose. The Xero reconciliation page shows how the connection works, and you can see Reconciler's plans: $89 a month billed yearly on Growth, or $179 month to month.
What should I ask before paying for an eBay Xero app?
- What counts toward the limit? Orders, transactions or revenue. Synder counts refunds and adjustments; Link My Books uses a rolling average.
- Does it post per payout or per order? A payout summary keeps Xero readable and ties to the bank; per-order detail helps when a buyer disputes one sale.
- Does it need eBay Managed Payments? A2X does, so sellers with old PayPal-era history should ask how it is handled.
- How far back can it import? History depth varies by plan, and a seller catching up a late year needs the deeper tier.
- What happens to my second channel? Some vendors charge per channel, others force an upgrade.
- How will I know the eBay clearing account is right at month end? If the answer is "check it by hand", budget that time.
Prices in this category change often, so confirm any figure on the vendor's own page. If your ledger is QuickBooks rather than Xero, the ladder differs; we priced it in eBay QuickBooks integration pricing. The other Xero channel guides cover Amazon Xero integration pricing, Shopify Xero integration pricing and PayPal Xero integration pricing.
