An Amazon Xero integration costs between $16 and $79 a month for most sellers, because Xero does not give Amazon sellers a free app the way it does for Shopify. The price depends on how many orders you ship, not on your Xero plan. Checked from each vendor's own page between October 8 and October 30, 2026, a single-marketplace seller pays about $16 to $29 a month at 200 orders and about $49 to $79 at 5,000, while Synder and Webgility start higher because they post more detail.

That gap is the whole decision. Below, every option we could read is priced at 200, 1,000 and 5,000 orders a month, with the rules that change a bill after you sign up: what counts as an order, what happens at the cap, and whether Xero itself needs a bigger plan for your Amazon currencies.

How much does an Amazon Xero integration cost?

Expect $16 to $29 a month for 200 orders and $49 to $79 for 5,000 on the settlement-style apps (Taxomate, Link My Books, A2X), $65 to $79 a month to start on Synder and Webgility, and $19 to $199 a month on Bookkeep, which prices by annual revenue rather than orders. Xero itself is separate: $27, $59 or $97 a month on the US plans.

Two readings are older than the rest. A2X's tiers and Link My Books' ladder were last read on its own pages on October 8 and October 15; A2X's pricing page today confirmed Amazon at "starting at $29" and did not show order limits, and Link My Books' pricing page did not load for us on October 30. Confirm both before you buy.

Does Xero integrate with Amazon?

Yes, through apps in the Xero App Store, not through a built-in connector. A2X and Link My Books are the two most reviewed, with A2X showing a rating near 4.96 on the Xero listing, and Taxomate, Synder, Bookkeep, Webgility and PayTraQer also connect Amazon to Xero. Each pulls a settlement from Seller Central and writes it to Xero as one summarized entry, split into sales, fees, refunds and taxes.

The summary matters because Amazon pays you once or twice a month in a lump that nets fees and reserves against sales. If every order landed in Xero as its own invoice, the bank line would never match anything. A settlement entry gives the bank feed one clean amount to match.

What does an Amazon to Xero sync cost at 200, 1,000 and 5,000 orders a month?

The cheapest published plan for one Amazon marketplace, monthly billing unless noted, is below. Taxomate's 1,000 order tier was not read, so only its two endpoints are shown.

Orders a monthTaxomateLink My BooksA2XSynderWebgility
200$19$24$29$65$79 (300 included)
1,000Between $19 and $59$47$59From $129$159 (Advanced plus one block)
5,000$59$68$79From $299$239 (Advanced plus nine blocks)

Taxomate is the cheapest on paper at both ends, and Link My Books is close behind with the more generous trial. A2X costs more per month than either but is the name most Xero bookkeepers already know, which matters if you hand the file to an accountant who has used it. Synder and Webgility earn their price only if you need per-transaction detail or inventory and cost of goods sold in the same tool.

Is there a free Amazon integration for Xero?

We did not find one. Xero's own Shopify app is free on all plans, but the Amazon listings in the Xero App Store are third-party and paid, each with a trial rather than a free tier. Taxomate also notes that its inventory sync works only with QuickBooks Online, so Xero users get summarized SKU invoices and calculated cost of goods sold instead of live inventory.

A free trial is the right tool for the first decision. Run your busiest real month through two apps and compare the settlement entry each one posts against the bank deposit on your Xero feed.

Which Xero plan do Amazon sellers need?

Xero lists three US plans: Early at $27 a month, Growing at $59 and Established at $97. Early allows five bills a month and, like Growing, excludes multi-currency, which only Established includes. A US seller who also sells on Amazon Canada, Mexico or the UK will want Established for the currency handling, which can outweigh the difference between sync apps. New US customers get 90 percent off the first six months until November 2, 2026.

What is the best Amazon Xero integration?

For one US marketplace and current books, Taxomate or Link My Books is the usual low-cost pick. For a seller who wants the most widely used settlement app and does not mind paying for the name, A2X. For Amazon plus several storefronts in one tool, Synder. For product-level cost of goods sold across channels, Webgility Complete. For a seller who prefers a yearly bill with no monthly meter, PayTraQer Rise.

  • Under 500 orders, one marketplace. Taxomate Starter or Link My Books at the 200 or 500 tier. You will spend under $40 a month.
  • Several marketplaces into one Xero file. Link My Books counts each Merchant ID as a channel, and A2X prices each channel separately, so price the stacked bill with our A2X pricing guide before committing.
  • Revenue-based billing. Bookkeep's Lite plan at $19 covers up to $200,000 a year, but a second channel forces an upgrade.
  • Tracking what Amazon actually paid you across several income streams. An income tracker for sellers shows payouts from each platform side by side, which a ledger sync does not.

Does an Amazon Xero integration reconcile the bank deposit?

Partly. The sync posts a settlement as one entry so the bank feed has a line to match, but none of these apps proves that every settlement actually arrived, that reserves released on schedule, or that the Amazon clearing account nets to zero at month end. Those are the checks that keep a close open.

It breaks in predictable places. A refund issued in the next period lands in a settlement that has no matching sale. A reserve held for a fast-growing account is released weeks later. A settlement straddles two months, so the bank deposit date and the books period disagree. Each leaves a small stranded balance in Xero.

That tie-out is what ecommerce payment reconciliation software does next to whichever sync you choose. Reconciler connects Xero read-only, reads your Amazon settlement report as a CSV file and the bank statement, and matches each deposit to the settlement and the entry your app posted, with a plain English reason under every pair. It never posts to Xero or moves money. The Xero reconciliation page shows how the connection works, and you can see Reconciler's plans and match your own deposits the same day.

What should I ask before paying for an Amazon Xero app?

  • What counts toward the limit? Orders, transactions or revenue. Synder counts refunds and adjustments; Link My Books uses a rolling average.
  • How far back does it import? History depth varies by plan, and a seller catching up a late year needs the deeper tier.
  • Does it post per settlement or per order? A summary keeps Xero readable at volume.
  • What happens to my second marketplace? Some vendors charge per channel, others by Merchant ID, others force an upgrade.
  • Does cost of goods sold reach Xero? Most settlement apps post sales and fees only.
  • How will I know the Amazon clearing account is right at month end? If the answer is "check it by hand", budget that time.

Prices in this category change often, so confirm any figure on the vendor's own page. If your ledger is QuickBooks rather than Xero, the ladder differs; we priced it in Amazon QuickBooks integration pricing, and the other channel guides for Xero cover Shopify Xero integration pricing, PayPal Xero integration pricing and Stripe Xero integration pricing.
