An Etsy Xero integration costs about $16 to $300 a month for a US seller, depending on order volume and on whether the app posts one summary per deposit or every order. Checked from vendor pages between October 9 and November 1, 2026, the cheapest published option at 1,000 Etsy orders a month is Taxomate at $39 ($33 billed yearly), then Link My Books at $47 and A2X at $79. Synder and Webgility start at $65 and $79 and climb faster because they sell multichannel sync. Xero has no free Etsy app we could find.

Every app below moves Etsy sales, fees and refunds into Xero. None of them proves that the Etsy deposit recorded in Xero matches the money that reached your bank, and that check is what keeps a bookkeeper busy at month end. The tables show only what each vendor publishes, and where a page left something out we say so.

How much does an Etsy Xero integration cost?

Budget $16 to $79 a month for a deposit-summary app such as Taxomate, Link My Books or A2X up to 5,000 orders, and $65 to $300 for Synder or Webgility. You pay for Xero on top: $27, $59 or $97 a month on the US plans.

Taxomate was read on its own pricing page on November 1. The A2X and Link My Books pages did not print a readable USD ladder when we looked again, so those two rows carry our earlier reads and are dated. Confirm both before you buy.

Does Xero integrate with Etsy?

Yes, through apps rather than a built-in connector. A2X, Link My Books, Taxomate, Synder and Webgility all connect Etsy to Xero. Each pulls the Etsy Payments deposit and writes it to Xero as one summarized entry, split into sales, shipping, fees, refunds and taxes, so the bank feed has a single amount to match.

Without that summary, every order would land in Xero as its own invoice, and the one net deposit on your bank statement would match nothing.

What does an Etsy to Xero sync cost at 200, 1,000 and 5,000 orders a month?

The cheapest published plan for one Etsy shop, monthly billing unless noted:

Orders a monthTaxomateLink My BooksA2XSynderWebgility
200$19 ($16 yearly)$24$29$65$79 (300 included)
1,000$39 ($33 yearly)$47$79From $129About $159 (Advanced plus one block)
5,000$59 ($49 yearly)$68$115From $299About $239 on the same overage rule; get a quote

The Webgility figures at 1,000 and 5,000 orders are our arithmetic from its published overage rate, not a price Webgility prints. Every other cell is a published tier. At 200 orders a month and a $30 average order, a shop sells about $6,000 a month, so the $60 gap between Taxomate and Webgility is one percent of revenue.

What does Etsy take out before the deposit reaches your bank?

Etsy pays out net, which is why Etsy books drift in Xero. A US seller pays a $0.20 listing fee per listing, a 6.5% transaction fee on item price plus shipping, and payment processing of 3% plus $0.25 per order. Offsite Ads take 15% of an attributed sale, or 12% once you pass $10,000 a year. Shipping labels and Etsy Ads come out of the same balance.

Take an illustrative month, not a real account: 40 orders at $30 is $1,200 in sales. Etsy deducts $78 in transaction fees, $46 in processing, $8 in renewals, $13.50 for three Offsite Ads sales and $160 in labels, so $894.50 lands in the bank. A per-order export posts $1,200 of sales across 40 receipts, the bank shows one $894.50 line, and someone has to make the two agree.

Is there a free Etsy integration for Xero?

We did not find one. The Etsy apps in the Xero App Store are third-party and paid, each with a trial rather than a free tier. Intuit offers an Etsy connector for QuickBooks Online, which does not help a Xero user.

Use the trial for the first decision. Run your busiest real month through two apps and compare the entry each one posts against the Etsy deposit on your Xero bank feed.

What is the cheapest way to connect Etsy to Xero?

On published prices, Taxomate is the cheapest paid route from 200 to 5,000 orders, with Link My Books close behind and a trial that needs no card. A2X costs more per month but is the name many Xero bookkeepers already know, which matters when you hand the file to an accountant. The cheapest subscription is not always the cheapest month end: a per-order app is the more expensive close, because hundreds of invoices then have to add up to one net deposit.

Which Xero plan do Etsy sellers need?

Xero lists three US plans: Early at $27 a month, Growing at $59 and Established at $97. Early limits you to five bills a month, which matters if you pay for supplies by bill. Multi-currency is only on Established, so a seller who prices in pounds or euros for international buyers should price that plan in before choosing an app.

Why doesn't my Etsy deposit match Xero?

Because Etsy pays out net, and one deposit often covers several days of orders. If a per-order app posts gross sales and the bank feed also records the deposit as income, revenue lands twice. A summary app fixes the shape, but it cannot prove the deposit arrived, catch a payout held back for a reserve or a chargeback, or notice that a refund pulled a later deposit below what the orders add up to.

Year end adds one more check, since the gross figure Etsy reports on your 1099-K will not equal net deposits. Once the books agree with the bank, the next question is which products earn their margin. A seller who wants to push the winners can feed a product page into an AI ad generator that writes ad copy and images from a product URL.

Do I need a sync app and reconciliation software?

Most Etsy sellers on Xero need one tool to move the data and one way to prove it is right. The sync app posts the deposit. Ecommerce payment reconciliation software checks the result against the money that arrived. Reconciler connects Xero read-only and takes your bank statement as a CSV upload (Mercury and Brex connect directly), then matches each Etsy deposit on the bank statement to the entry your sync app posted, with a plain English reason under every pair and every exception flagged.

To be clear about the limit: Reconciler does not read Etsy payment reports, so it does not split a deposit into its orders and fees. That stays the sync app's job. It proves that each deposit landed and agrees with the ledger, and catches the duplicates and missing deposits a sync cannot see. It never posts to Xero and never moves money, so it runs next to whichever app you choose. The Xero reconciliation page shows how the connection works, and you can see Reconciler's plans: $89 a month billed yearly on Growth, or $179 month to month.

What should I ask before paying for an Etsy Xero app?

  • What counts toward the limit? Orders, transactions or revenue. Synder counts refunds and adjustments; Link My Books uses a rolling average.
  • Does it post per deposit or per order? A deposit summary keeps Xero readable and ties to the bank; per-order detail helps when a buyer disputes one sale.
  • How does it handle Etsy Payments reserves and holds? A held deposit should show as pending, not as missing income.
  • How far back can it import? History depth varies by plan, and a seller catching up a late year needs the deeper tier.
  • What happens to my second channel? Some vendors charge per channel, others force an upgrade.
  • How will I know the Etsy clearing account is right at month end? If the answer is "check it by hand", budget that time.

Prices in this category change often, so confirm any figure on the vendor's own page. If your ledger is QuickBooks rather than Xero, the ladder differs; we priced it in Etsy QuickBooks integration pricing. The other Xero channel guides cover eBay Xero integration pricing, Amazon Xero integration pricing and Shopify Xero integration pricing.
