The short answer: A2X costs US$29 a month for up to 200 orders on one sales channel, and the price climbs with monthly order volume to $229 at 15,000 orders and $1,499 at 250,000. Every channel (Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, PayPal) has its own ladder, Walmart starts at $79, and sellers on two or more channels either stack single-channel plans or move to a Multi-channel plan from $89. There is no published annual discount, the trial is 30 days, and A2X Subledger and A2X Clarity are quote-only.
Every figure below was read off A2X's own per-channel pricing pages on September 26, 2026, in USD. A2X repackages tiers from time to time, so check the live page for your channel before you commit.
How much does A2X cost?
A2X costs between $29 and $1,499 a month for a single sales channel, set by how many orders that channel produces each month. The entry tier covers 200 orders with 3 months of history, the mid tiers run $45 to $159 for 500 to 10,000 orders, and everything from 50,000 orders up goes through sales. Above 250,000 orders a month the price is custom.
The lower tiers differ by channel. Here is each ladder as A2X publishes it:
| Channel | Entry | Second tier | Third tier | 5,000 orders | 10,000 orders |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon | Mini $29, 200 orders | Starter $59, 1,000 | Standard $79, 5,000 | $79 (Standard) | $159 |
| Shopify | Mini $29, 200 orders | Basic $45, 500 | Professional $79, 2,000 | $115 (Premium 5k) | $159 |
| eBay | Mini $29, 200 orders | Basic $45, 500 | Pro $79, 2,000 | $115 (Advanced) | $159 |
| Etsy | Mini $29, 200 orders | Basic $45, 500 | Pro $79, 2,000 | $115 (Advanced) | $159 |
| Walmart | Establish $79, 2,000 orders | Accelerate $115, 5,000 | Elevate $159, 10,000 | $115 | $159 |
| PayPal | Mini $29, 200 transactions | Basic $45, 500 | Professional $79, 2,000 | $115 (Premium 5k) | $159 |
Two quirks are worth knowing. Amazon's ladder is the cheapest at volume, because its $79 Standard tier covers 5,000 orders where Shopify's $79 tier stops at 2,000. And PayPal counts transactions rather than orders, which matters if you run refunds, disputes and transfers through the same account.
What does A2X cost above 10,000 orders a month?
From 15,000 orders up, every single-channel ladder is identical. These are A2X's Premium tiers:
| Orders per month | Price per month | Accounts included | How you buy it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 15,000 | $229 | 5 | Self-serve |
| 20,000 | $289 | 5 | Self-serve |
| 30,000 | $399 | 5 | Self-serve |
| 40,000 | $519 | 5 | Self-serve |
| 50,000 | $579 | 5 | Talk to sales |
| 75,000 | $919 | 5 | Talk to sales |
| 100,000 | $1,039 | 10 | Talk to sales |
| 150,000 | $1,149 | 10 | Talk to sales |
| 200,000 | $1,329 | 20 | Talk to sales |
| 250,000 | $1,499 | 20 | Talk to sales |
| More than 250,000 | Custom, volume based | Custom | Talk to sales |
"Accounts" means stores or seller IDs on the same channel, so a brand with five Shopify stores can sit on one Premium plan rather than five. PayPal is the exception: every PayPal tier covers one PayPal integration. Premium tiers also upgrade support from email and live chat to premium one-to-one support, and onboarding from a 30 minute call to 60 minutes.
How much does A2X cost for Amazon and Shopify together?
A seller on two channels has two options. You can stack single-channel plans, one per channel, or buy one Multi-channel plan priced on combined orders. The Multi-channel ladder runs Multi 1K $89 (2 channels), Multi 2K $115 (3 channels), Multi 5K $169 (4 channels), then Premium tiers of $229 at 10,000, $289 at 15,000, $359 at 20,000, $499 at 30,000 and $649 at 40,000 combined orders, with 5 channels included. From 50,000 combined orders ($719) it goes through sales, up to $1,869 at 250,000.
Which one is cheaper depends on how your orders split. We priced five common Shopify and Amazon mixes both ways:
| Monthly orders | Stacked single-channel plans | Multi-channel plan | Cheaper option |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify 500, Amazon 500 | $45 + $59 = $104 | Multi 1K $89 | Multi, by $15 |
| Shopify 1,500, Amazon 500 | $79 + $59 = $138 | Multi 2K $115 | Multi, by $23 |
| Shopify 2,000, Amazon 1,000 | $79 + $59 = $138 | Multi 5K $169 | Stacked, by $31 |
| Shopify 8,000, Amazon 2,000 | $159 + $79 = $238 | Multi Premium 10K $229 | Multi, by $9 |
| Shopify 12,000, Amazon 3,000 | $229 + $79 = $308 | Multi Premium 15K $289 | Multi, by $19 |
The pattern: Multi-channel wins almost everywhere, but not in the band just above 2,000 combined orders, where the jump from Multi 2K to Multi 5K costs $54 and two cheap single-channel plans come in under it. Adding a third channel pushes the math back toward Multi fast, because each stacked channel adds at least $29. Before you pick, also check ledger support: the Multi-channel card on A2X's main pricing page names QuickBooks Online and Xero, while the single-channel pages name QuickBooks Online, Xero and NetSuite, so a NetSuite seller should confirm Multi-channel on a call.
If you compare A2X against a tool that charges one price for every channel, the gap is bigger. A2X vs Link My Books pricing at matched order volumes runs that comparison order band by order band.
What is included on each A2X plan?
Three things change as you move up a ladder besides the order cap: history, cost of goods sold, and support.
- History. Mini pulls 3 months of past settlements, the second tier 6 months (12 on Amazon Starter), the third tier 12 months (24 on Amazon Standard), and the 5,000 and 10,000 order tiers the maximum available. A2X's own FAQ suggests starting on Premium to pull a long history and then downgrading, which is useful if you are cleaning up a prior year.
- Cost of goods sold. COGS is not included on Mini for Amazon, Shopify, eBay or Etsy. It starts at the second tier. Walmart includes COGS on every plan, PayPal on none, and the Multi-channel plan cards do not list it.
- Support. Lower tiers get email and live chat plus a 30 minute onboarding call. Premium tiers get premium one-to-one support and a 60 minute onboarding.
Every plan posts summarized settlement entries to QuickBooks Online, Xero or NetSuite, and no single-channel plan changes price by ledger. QuickBooks Desktop is not mentioned anywhere on A2X's site.
Does A2X offer an annual discount?
No. A2X publishes no yearly plan and no annual discount on any of its pricing pages, and its Shopify App Store listing says recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days. That is unusual in this category: Taxomate, Synder and Webgility all discount annual billing. If you want a lower rate, the levers are choosing the right ladder and letting the three-month average work in your favor.
What happens if I go over my A2X order limit?
A2X does not bump you up for one busy month. Its support documentation says it will not auto-upgrade you until you exceed your plan's order threshold on a three-month average, and that it emails you several times before the upgrade takes effect in the next billing cycle. Downgrades work the same way. On a Multi-channel plan, going over the allowance triggers an in-app prompt to upgrade. No per-order overage fee is published.
For a seasonal business this is generous. A November and December spike averaged against a quiet October may never move your tier, while a store that has genuinely grown will be moved up within a quarter.
Does A2X have a free trial?
Yes. A2X offers a 30 day free trial with full access to every feature, and during the trial it can post three settlements to your accounting system. It fetches your last 5 to 10 payouts when you connect but does not pull new data while in trial mode, so plan the trial around a real month-end rather than starting it mid-month.
How much do A2X Subledger and A2X Clarity cost?
Neither has a published price. A2X Subledger (order-to-cash reconciliation for high-volume brands) and A2X Clarity (profitability analytics) both answer the pricing question the same way on their own pages: the price depends on channels, order volume and connected systems, and you schedule a demo to get a scoped plan. Both pages list QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and Sage as supported ledgers. If profitability is the question you are really trying to answer, it usually also means pulling ad spend next to store revenue, which is a job for a blended marketing dashboard rather than your accounting sync.
Is A2X worth the price?
For most US sellers doing a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month, yes, if the problem is getting settlements into the books correctly. At $45 to $79 a month A2X replaces hours of splitting each Amazon or Shopify payout into sales, fees, refunds, advertising and reserves by hand, and it produces one entry that equals the deposit. That is what it is built for, and the accountants who recommend it do so for that reason.
Where sellers start looking at A2X alternatives is usually one of three places. The per-channel ladder gets expensive for a brand on four or five channels at moderate volume. The seller needs QuickBooks Desktop, which A2X does not support. Or the books are already posted and the real problem is proving they are right.
Does A2X do bank reconciliation?
Not in the full sense. A2X builds each settlement summary so it equals the payout, which makes the matching deposit easy to clear inside QuickBooks or Xero. It does not connect to your bank or business credit cards, and it does not reconcile the rest of the statement: ACH batches, wires, card charges, transfers between accounts, and Stripe, PayPal or Square payouts that never touched a marketplace.
That second job is reconciliation software, and it is what Reconciler does. It connects your bank feed, business cards and Stripe, PayPal, Square or Shopify payouts next to QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite with read access only, matches both sides line by line, and writes a plain English reason for every pair so your bookkeeper can see why a deposit tied to a payout instead of taking it on trust. It never posts an entry, so it sits alongside A2X rather than replacing it. Plans start at $49 a month billed yearly, and the plan with ledger connections is $149. Our guide to ecommerce payment reconciliation software shows which tool covers which part of a seller's close.
A2X pricing compared with the tools sellers shortlist
| Tool | Entry price | How the price is set | Annual discount | Reconciles the bank statement |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A2X | $29 a month, one channel, 200 orders | Per channel, by monthly orders | None published | No, payouts only |
| Taxomate | $12 a month billed yearly, one channel, 200 orders | Monthly orders and channel count | About 17 percent | No, payouts only |
| Webgility | $69 a month billed yearly on Pro, 300 orders and 2 channels (checked September 8, 2026) | A separate ladder per ledger, then orders and channels | Yes, Pro is $79 month to month | No |
| Reconciler | $49 a month billed yearly | Flat per plan | Two months free | Yes, bank, cards and processors, read-only |
If Webgility is also on your list, A2X vs Webgility breaks down both ladders, and the Taxomate alternatives comparison has Taxomate's full order-volume ladder.
The bottom line
A2X's price is set by one channel's monthly orders: $29 at 200, $79 at 2,000 on Shopify or 5,000 on Amazon, $159 at 10,000, and $229 at 15,000. Sellers on two channels should price the Multi-channel plan against two stacked plans, because the cheaper answer flips around 2,000 to 5,000 combined orders. There is no annual discount, a three-month average protects you from one-off spikes, and the trial runs 30 days. What A2X will not do, at any price, is prove that your bank and card statements agree with the books it posts to. That is the job to add once the sync is running.
